What Entergram accesses

תוכן זה אינו זמין עדיין בשפה שלך.

Entergram is a CRM for your Telegram accounts, so it has to handle your messages to show them to you. It does that live: messages are fetched from Telegram when a chat is opened and shown only to workspace members allowed to see that chat. Entergram does not keep your Telegram message history in its database.

This page is the itemised version of that claim. The legal version is in our Privacy Policy.

To provide analytics and CRM functionality, Entergram accesses chat metadata:

CategorySpecifically
Basic Telegram account infoUsernames, Telegram IDs, and other metadata Telegram provides
Group chat metadataMember lists, invite links, group-level details
Private chat metadataUsernames, phone numbers (only where shared in Telegram), and other metadata
Activity analyticsCounts of messages sent and received, total group chats, similar aggregated metadata

Plus, of course, the data you create in Entergram: custom field values, notes, comments, tickets, files you upload, templates, saved views and reminders.

  • Displaying and sending. When you open a chat, Entergram fetches its messages from Telegram and renders them, and it sends the messages you write to Telegram.
  • Short-lived caches only. To keep the app fast, recent messages sit in caches that expire automatically and are cleared when they go out of date. When a cache is empty, messages are fetched live from Telegram again. There is no message archive behind them.
  • Notifications. Message text is processed to deliver new-message notifications. By default a push notification carries generic text only; previews with an excerpt appear only if you turn them on.
  • No AI processing. Entergram does not currently offer AI features that process your message content (see below).
  • Your message history. It is not copied into our database. The chat list does keep a short preview of each chat’s latest message alongside the chat’s metadata, and a message you turn into a ticket is saved as that ticket’s source message.
  • Media files from your conversations. Those live on Telegram.
  • Your Telegram password. There isn’t one to have, Telegram auth is code-based.
  • Card details. Payments go through Stripe.

”But I can read my messages in Entergram”

Section titled “”But I can read my messages in Entergram””

Yes, because your connected account holds a live authenticated session with Telegram, the same way the Telegram Web client does. The conversation is fetched from Telegram in the moment and rendered to you. That’s a very different thing from Entergram keeping a copy of every message in its database.

The practical test: export your data. The export contains chats, contacts, groups, ticket threads, analytics summaries and workspace configuration, not the message history of your Telegram conversations, because there is no stored history to export.

Analytics is built on counts and timestamps, not content:

  • how many messages, in which direction, at what time,
  • how long until you replied,
  • which chat type, which account,
  • media type counts (files, stickers, voice) rather than the files themselves.

That’s why response metrics are defined the way they are, see Response metrics explained.

Entergram does not currently offer AI features that process your message content. If optional AI features are introduced, they will be off by default, and the Privacy Policy will be updated to name any AI provider before it processes any data.

If a conversation shouldn’t be in your CRM at all, exclude it. Excluded chats are hidden from your chat list and omitted from your analytics and contact syncing.

See Excluded chats.

You can export all data Entergram has about your account at any time from the Data tab. You can also request deletion of all your data directly from the Data tab. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems.

See Data export & deletion.
