What Entergram accesses
Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.
The Telegram API technically allows access to message content. Entergram does not read or store the content of your messages. Your conversations remain private.
This page is the itemised version of that claim.
What Entergram accesses
Section titled “What Entergram accesses”To provide analytics and CRM functionality, Entergram accesses chat metadata:
| Category | Specifically |
|---|---|
| Basic Telegram account info | Usernames, Telegram IDs, and other metadata Telegram provides |
| Group chat metadata | Member lists, invite links, group-level details |
| Private chat metadata | Usernames, phone numbers (only where shared in Telegram), and other metadata |
| Activity analytics | Counts of messages sent and received, total group chats, similar aggregated metadata |
Plus, of course, the data you create in Entergram: custom field values, notes, comments, tickets, files you upload, templates, saved views and reminders.
What Entergram does not store
Section titled “What Entergram does not store”- The text of your messages. Not indexed, not stored, not searched server-side.
- Media files from your conversations. Those live on Telegram.
- Your Telegram password. There isn’t one to have — Telegram auth is code-based.
- Card details. Payments go through Stripe.
”But I can read my messages in Entergram”
Section titled “”But I can read my messages in Entergram””Yes — because your connected account holds a live authenticated session with Telegram, the same way the Telegram Web client does. The conversation is fetched from Telegram in the moment and rendered to you. That’s a very different thing from Entergram keeping a copy of every message in its database.
The practical test: export your data. The export contains chats, contacts, groups, ticket threads, analytics summaries and workspace configuration — not the body text of your Telegram conversations. There’s nothing to export, because there’s nothing stored.
What this means for the numbers you see
Section titled “What this means for the numbers you see”Analytics is built on counts and timestamps, not content:
- how many messages, in which direction, at what time,
- how long until you replied,
- which chat type, which account,
- media type counts (files, stickers, voice) rather than the files themselves.
That’s why response metrics are defined the way they are — see Response metrics explained.
The AI features
Section titled “The AI features”The optional per-chat AI features (summary, translation, auto draft) do process message text in order to work — that’s what a summary is. They are:
- off by default,
- enabled per chat, not globally,
- controlled by a master Enable AI for this chat switch.
Auto draft reply never sends automatically and will not overwrite text you already started writing. If you don’t want any message text processed, leave AI off for that chat.
See The chat panel.
Keeping a chat out entirely
Section titled “Keeping a chat out entirely”If a conversation shouldn’t be in your CRM at all, exclude it. Excluded chats are hidden from your chat list and omitted from your analytics and contact syncing.
See Excluded chats.
Your data is always in your control
Section titled “Your data is always in your control”You can export all data Entergram has about your account at any time from the Data tab. You can also request deletion of all your data directly from the Data tab. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems.
