Proxies & IP isolation

Connected Telegram accounts reach Telegram through proxies operated by Entergram, with a stable per-account assignment — an account keeps connecting from a consistent place rather than from whatever server happens to be free.

Telegram pays close attention to where a session connects from. Two things get accounts flagged faster than anything else:

  1. A sudden change of IP or country on an established session.
  2. Many different accounts appearing from the same IP — the signature of a bulk operation.

Stable per-account routing addresses both: your account’s traffic comes from a consistent location instead of drifting between servers.

Proxies are part of Entergram’s infrastructure, not something you configure:

  • Proxy credentials are stored encrypted.
  • Proxies are health-checked, and each account’s assignment is stable rather than rotating per request.
  • You don’t need to (and can’t) bring your own proxy.

Proxy with dedicated IP is included from the Basic plan onward — it’s part of how Entergram connects accounts, not an optional add-on to set up.

The infrastructure half is handled for you. The behavioural half is yours:

  • Don’t fight the broadcast delay. Messages go out several seconds apart specifically to stay inside Telegram’s limits, and the composer’s tip is to send in batches of 20 for best delivery. See Broadcasts.
  • Warm up new accounts. A brand-new Telegram account that immediately broadcasts to 500 strangers will be restricted no matter whose infrastructure it’s on.
  • Reconnect promptly when an account shows Reconnect Required, rather than leaving it half-connected.

Can I choose the country of my proxy? Not self-serve. Contact support if you have a specific requirement.

Is my Telegram traffic readable by the proxy? Telegram’s MTProto transport is encrypted between the client and Telegram’s servers. The proxy carries that traffic; it isn’t a decryption point.

Do my contacts see anything different? No. They see an ordinary message from your account.
