Plans & billing

Billing lives in Settings → Billing (owners) and Settings → Plans. Payment is handled by Stripe — Entergram never stores your card.

Billing is Monthly or Yearly; yearly saves roughly two months (“Save 2 months” / “-2 mo”).

Exact prices are shown live in the app and can change. Always check the Plans tab rather than a document.

A free trial gives you full Pro access for a limited number of days, with up to 2 Telegram accounts. You need to connect a Telegram account to start the trial“Connect Telegram to start trial.” No card required.

When it ends: “Your {n}-day trial has ended. Choose a plan to continue using Entergram.”

Workspace seats are billed on the owner’s subscription. If the owner has no personal subscription yet: “Add a personal subscription before purchasing workspace seats.”

Buying seats (Purchase a Seat):

  1. Choose the seat plan — Basic or Pro.
  2. Choose the number of seats.
  3. Choose the billing period.
  4. Confirm. Entergram charges your saved payment method; if extra verification is needed you’re redirected to Stripe.

Seats are available immediately after payment.

Extra TG accounts raise a seat’s Telegram limit past the base of 5. Add-ons are billed immediately when enabled or updated, prorated by Stripe, and only the difference is charged — existing Extra TG is not billed twice.

Shows Current plan, Access since / until, Next charge, Status, plus the allocation:

  • Basic seats and Pro seatsAssigned {n} / Purchased {n}, Remaining {n}
  • Extra TG accounts
  • Total monthly

“Owner access is included in the personal plan and does not count toward seat purchases.”

Change plan / Review upgrade shows the full picture before anything is charged:

  • Workspace recurring subtotal and the allocation it covers
  • Estimated charge now — the prorated amount Stripe calculated for the remaining time, with tax included where available and account credits applied
  • An explicit authorization line before you confirm

Switching monthly → yearly charges the prorated difference immediately. Switching yearly → monthly is scheduled: your yearly access continues to the end of the current period, then monthly billing starts. No charge today.

Downgrades between plan tiers may require support (“Downgrades require support”).

StateWhat you see
Past Due”Payment Failed”, a Pay by {date} deadline with days remaining, and Update Payment
Canceled”Your {plan} subscription has been canceled. Upgrade to regain access.” with Access until {date}
Expired”Your subscription has expired. Renew to continue using Entergram.”

Cancel Subscription explains what happens:

  • You keep access until the end of your billing period.
  • No more charges will be made.
  • You can reactivate anytime before the period ends.

Cancelled subscriptions show (Canceling) with the end date and a Reactivate action.

Open Stripe billing portal manages your saved payment method, invoices and seat subscriptions. Some access is “managed outside Stripe” — those cases say “Contact support to change or cancel it.”

If your plan comes from a workspace seat you’ll see “Your workspace owner manages this plan and its billing.”

If you joined someone’s workspace, your access is Seated Pro or Seated Basic (“Full Pro access through your workspace seat”). You don’t need your own subscription — but if you leave the workspace, you’ll need one to keep using the app.

Settings → Accounts → Invite your friends: earn a 30% recurring lifetime commission on every paid subscriber you refer, for as long as they stay subscribed. Copy your referral code or share link from that panel.
