Data export & deletion
Settings → Workspace → Data
Two things live here: getting your data out, and getting rid of it.
Targeted exports
Section titled “Targeted exports”Data export lets you export one category at a time:
| Target | Contents |
|---|---|
| Tickets | Ticket conversations and metadata |
| Chats | Your chat list with basic metadata |
| Contacts | Contacts from your connected accounts |
| Groups | Group chats and members |
| Analytics | Analytics metrics and summaries |
For each you choose:
- Account - one account, or All accounts.
- Time range, required for analytics exports.
Then Export data → Download. “Exports may take a few minutes to prepare.”
Full workspace export
Section titled “Full workspace export”Full workspace export produces a single ZIP archive for the current workspace:
| Included | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tickets and conversation history | Ticket threads, metadata, linked chats, status and priority snapshots |
| Chats, contacts and group mappings | Core chat entities, contact references, group/member relationships |
| Workspace analytics summaries | Aggregated metrics used in reports and dashboards |
| Workspace configuration state | Current settings, operational flags, permission controls |
| Member and account references | Member roster and connected-account reference metadata |
| Portable archive bundle | Delivered as a downloadable ZIP for offline retention |
“Large workspaces may need a short processing time before download starts.”
Note: exports contain chat metadata and the CRM data you created. They do not contain the body text of your Telegram conversations, because Entergram doesn’t store it. See What Entergram accesses.
Who can export
Section titled “Who can export”Governed by the workspace setting Members can export their data:
- On, members can export data from their own workspace accounts (“Exports are limited to your own accounts”).
- Off, only owners and admins can export.
Exports can also be disabled by plan: “Exports are disabled for your workspace plan.”
Audit log exports are separate and stricter, owners and admins only. See Log history.
Every export is recorded in the activity log as Workspace data exported.
Deleting your account data
Section titled “Deleting your account data”Danger zone → Delete Account Data, “Permanently delete all data associated with this account.”
This action cannot be undone.
What is permanently deleted:
- Account metadata
- Tickets and notes
- Chats and messages
- Contacts and groups
- Settings and preferences
- Analytics data
To confirm, you must type the phrase delete account exactly. Then Confirm deletion.
The deletion runs as a job, you’ll see Preparing deletion… then Deleting account data… and finally Account data deleted.
Deleting a workspace instead
Section titled “Deleting a workspace instead”Deleting a workspace is a different action, done from Settings → Workspace → Settings → Danger Zone. It removes the workspace’s tickets, activity log, custom field values, comments, files, connectors, API keys, shared views and templates, but your connected accounts survive and are simply detached.
Deleting a workspace does not cancel subscriptions. See Workspaces and Plans & billing.
Recommended order for a clean exit
Section titled “Recommended order for a clean exit”- Export the full workspace ZIP and verify you can open it.
- Export analytics for the time range you care about (it isn’t reconstructible later).
- Export the audit log CSV if you have compliance obligations.
- Disconnect Telegram accounts so syncing stops.
- Delete the workspace, then delete account data.
- Cancel your subscription in the Stripe portal, this is not automatic.
