Connect multiple personal Telegram accounts to Slack

Slack Telegram integration for teams running many real personal accounts, not a single bot. Entergram holds every connected account in one inbox and moves only governed business data into Slack.

The difference

Most tools connect one bot. Entergram connects every account your team runs.

  • One inbox across 100+ connected Telegram accounts, with no account switching. Filter down to the accounts you want to watch.
  • Real personal accounts, not bots. Each one runs through its own dedicated proxy, and replies go out from the account that owns the conversation.
  • The MCP covers every personal account on the seat, not just one. No other product does this.

Direct answer

How the Slack Telegram integration works

Turn approved Telegram decisions, tasks and alerts into structured Slack context without copying private chats wholesale.

Authorize Entergram and Slack separately. Use Entergram Slack app and Slack Web API, Make, n8n or middleware for deterministic workflows; use the dedicated MCP page when an AI client chooses tools or drafts actions.

Entergram remains the authorized Telegram layer, Slack remains the work and knowledge platform, and the orchestrator moves only approved fields between them.

Do not confuse the connection models

Personal account, Telegram Business bot and standard bot are different

Telegram connectionWhat it representsBest fit with Slack
Authorized personal account through EntergramThe real account already used by a salesperson, founder or support operator.Existing relationship conversations where source identity and workspace permission must be preserved.
Telegram Business connected botA bot authorized to handle selected business messages under Telegram's connected-business-bot model.Structured business automation when its permissions fit the workflow.
Standard Telegram botA separate bot identity that users intentionally message or add to a group.Bot-first experiences, notifications and commands; it does not inherit a person's private chat history.

What you get

Every Telegram chat your seat can read, kept as an audit log in Slack.

The Entergram app is listed in the Slack marketplace and included in Pro. Each teammate connects their own Slack over OAuth and picks one public or private channel, and Entergram relays every Telegram chat that seat can access into it. The relay runs one way, Telegram to Slack: you read and search the record in Slack, and you reply from Entergram.

01

One channel per seat, not per account

Routing follows the seat. Whatever chats a teammate can open in Entergram, across every account they work, land in the one channel they picked. A seat with 20 accounts still feeds one channel, so plan channels per person rather than per Telegram account.

02

A record, not a second inbox

Nothing written in Slack goes back to Telegram. Your team answers from Entergram, through the real personal account that owns the chat, so the customer keeps talking to the account they already know. The Slack channel holds the record of what was said.

03

A copy outside Telegram

Either side of a Telegram chat can delete a message for everyone, and inside Entergram you can stop your own team from deleting anything at all. The relay adds a copy in Slack, a system the employee cannot rewrite from Telegram. What happens to that copy after a Telegram-side deletion is not confirmed yet, so test it in your own workspace before you treat the channel as proof of a deleted message.

04

Only what the seat could already read

The relay follows Entergram's access model. A seat relays the chats it can open and nothing else, so accounts kept private stay private. Anyone who joins the Slack channel can read everything relayed into it, so keep membership as tight as access to the accounts themselves.

05

Connected per teammate, included in Pro

Each teammate connects Slack over OAuth and picks the channel. There is no middleware to host and no separate integration fee. Notion and Make.com come on the same plan.

Vendor-specific workflows

Three practical Slack and Telegram workflows

01

Telegram conversation to Slack channels

Trigger
A governed Telegram message meets the approved business rule.
Result
Create or update one mapped record with owner and source reference.
Guardrail
Search the stored mapping before creating anything.
02

Slack threads update to Telegram

Trigger
A mapped Slack record reaches a customer-relevant state.
Result
Draft or send a concise update from the correct personal Telegram account.
Guardrail
Re-read current state and exclude internal or sensitive fields.
03

Unresolved messages escalation

Trigger
A linked item remains unresolved beyond the operating threshold.
Result
Notify the responsible team and preserve the existing record relationship.
Guardrail
Deduplicate the escalation and keep external sends approval-gated.

Implementation

How to connect Slack to multiple personal Telegram accounts

  1. 01

    Connect the correct Telegram accounts

Authorize the personal Telegram accounts in Entergram and define the workspace, chats and folders in scope.

  2. 02

    Authorize Slack separately

Create the minimum required Entergram Slack app and Slack Web API authorization. Entergram credentials never become Slack credentials.

  3. 03

    Create a stable identity map

Use a reviewed Slack record ID mapped to the exact Entergram workspace, source account and chat ID. Store the confirmed destination ID so later runs never guess.

  4. 04

Test one workflow in draft mode

Start with Telegram conversation to Slack channels. Read and propose first; inspect mapping, duplicates and permissions before enabling writes.

  5. 05

Add retries, approvals and audit records

Persist source and destination IDs, use idempotency keys and record every sensitive approval.

Operational boundaries

What this integration should not do

  • Slack requires separate authorization and least-privilege access.
  • Display names and usernames are not durable identity keys.
  • Do not copy full private Telegram conversations by default.
  • Sensitive writes and external replies need explicit approval and audit records.
  • Do not send unsolicited or unsafe bulk messages. Telegram permissions, consent and workspace policy still apply.

Frequently asked questions

Slack Telegram integration FAQ

Can I connect a personal Telegram account to Slack?

Yes. Entergram authorizes the personal Telegram account while Slack is authorized separately through Entergram Slack app and Slack Web API. Every action must retain the Entergram account ID, chat ID and destination record ID.

Does Entergram have a native Slack integration?

A documented native Entergram path is available; verify its current modules and permissions before deployment.

How is this different from Slack Telegram MCP?

The broad page owns connection choices, mappings and operating workflows. The MCP page, where published, owns AI tools, MCP configuration, scopes and prompts.

How should Telegram contacts be matched to Slack?

Use a reviewed Slack record ID mapped to the exact Entergram workspace, source account and chat ID. Confirm once, persist the destination ID and search before create. Never rely on a changing display name alone.

Should complete Telegram conversations be copied into Slack?

Usually no. Move the smallest useful outcome: verified identity, concise summary, explicit decision, next step or escalation.

Build the connection carefully

Start with the Telegram accounts your team already uses

Connect them to Entergram, define the first governed workflow, then add Slack with the minimum required authorization.
