Delete Your Entergram Account
Last Updated: October 8, 2026
Overview
This page explains how to delete your Entergram account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to Entergram on the web (app.entergram.com) and to the Entergram apps for mobile and desktop. Entergram is operated by Entinel Technologies OÜ (reg. no. 17485993), Pärnu mnt. 139b - 14, Tallinn, 11317, Estonia.
Deleting your personal account is permanent and cannot be undone. It is separate from deleting a workspace.
Option 1: Delete your account in Entergram
1. Sign in to Entergram on the web or in the app.
2. Open Settings → Profile and scroll down to the Danger Zone.
3. Select Delete personal account, review what will happen, enter your account email, and confirm.
4. We send a confirmation link to your account's email address. Open it while signed in to the same account and confirm. The link expires after 10 minutes; if it expires, start again to receive a new one.
Deletion starts only after you confirm through the email link. Once it starts, access to the account is locked straight away and the remaining steps run in the background.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
If you cannot sign in, or you no longer have the app, email hello@entergram.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
- Send the email from the email address of the Entergram account you want deleted. To protect your account, we act only on requests that come from the account's own email address, and we may ask you to confirm the request before we proceed.
- We reply by email to confirm when the deletion has started. We handle deletion requests without undue delay and within one month at the latest, as required by the GDPR.
You do not need the app, a Telegram account, or a password to make this request.
Before you delete
- Workspaces you own. If you own a workspace, transfer ownership or delete that workspace first. Entergram does not delete a personal account while it still owns an active workspace.
- Billing. Your personal subscription ends immediately when the deletion starts, without an automatic refund.
- Keep a copy. If you want a copy of your data, export it first from Settings → Data.
What we delete
- Your Entergram profile and sign-in identity, including your email address and authentication record
- Telegram account sessions you connected to Entergram (they are removed from Entergram; you can also review active sessions in Telegram under Settings → Devices)
- Your personal data in Entergram, such as tags, notes, custom fields, tickets, templates, files you uploaded, settings, and analytics
- Your workspace memberships; seats assigned to you are released
- Push notification registrations for your devices (push tokens and installation identifiers) and your notification history
We do not store your Telegram message history in our database, so there is no message archive to delete. Short-lived message caches expire on their own.
Content you added to a workspace owned by someone else, such as tickets, comments, or notes, belongs to that workspace and may remain visible to its members after your account is deleted. We remove your name, email address, and profile picture from your account, so that content is no longer shown under your name. Text written into the content itself, such as a name mentioned in a comment, is not changed.
What we keep, and for how long
- A deletion record. An anonymous record that an account was deleted, with a log of the deletion steps and without your name or email address, so we can show that the deletion was completed. We keep it for 3 years.
- A blocked-email marker. A keyed hash of your email address (not the address itself), which stops the same address from being reused automatically. If you later want a new, empty account with the same email, contact support and we can release it. This marker is kept until support releases it.
- Billing records. Invoices and payment records that we and our payment processor, Stripe, must keep for tax and accounting purposes. We keep them for 7 years, as required by the Estonian Accounting Act.
- Backups. Deleted data disappears from our encrypted backups within 30 days, as older backups expire.
- Security and error logs. Server, security, and error logs (including error reports sent to Sentry) that may contain identifiers are kept for 90 days and then deleted.
We keep these records only for the purposes described here and do not use them to rebuild your account. Releasing a blocked email does not restore any deleted data.
Delete some data without deleting your account
If you want to keep your account but remove its data, use Delete account data in Settings → Data. To stop push notifications on a device, sign out of the app on that device or turn off notifications in its system settings.
