Tick a row’s checkbox — or the header checkbox to select the whole page — and a floating selection toolbar appears with everything you can do to that set. The footer shows “Selected {n} of {total}”.

What you can do

Action	Notes
Mark read	Marks every selected chat as read
Pin / Unpin	Pins or unpins in Telegram
Add to folder	Adds to one or more Telegram folders
Remove from folder	Removes from a folder (a folder can never be emptied — Telegram’s rule)
Add fields	Set custom-field values on everything selected
Remove fields	Clear custom-field values on everything selected
Broadcast	Opens the broadcast dialog with these chats as recipients
Exclude selected chats	Hides them from the CRM, analytics and contact syncing
Cancel	Clears the selection

Setting fields in bulk

Add fields opens a panel headed ADD FIELDS — Add these values to all selected. Pick a column and a value; checkbox columns get explicit Set to Yes / Set to No.

Remove fields works the same way in reverse (Remove these values from all selected).

You’re asked to confirm before anything is written:

Apply to all selected? — This will add {label} to all {n} selected.

Excluding in bulk

Exclude selected chats asks:

{n} selected chats will be hidden from the CRM, analytics, and contact syncing.

This is reversible from Settings → Accounts → Exclude chats, where every excluded chat can be Restored. See Excluded chats.

Whether members can do this at all is controlled by the workspace setting Members can manage excluded chats.

Doing it in one sentence

If you’ve connected an AI agent over MCP, the same operations are available in plain language:

“Mark every unread group as read and set its Campaign field to Q3.”

Cautions

Bulk edits are applied to every selected row, including rows scrolled out of view. Check the count in the toolbar before confirming.
Bulk field changes are recorded per member and show up in Analytics → Log history and in the Recent Changes feed — useful for auditing, and for undoing by hand.
Folder operations touch Telegram itself, not just Entergram.
