Broadcasts & bulk actions

Select rows in the chat table with the checkboxes and a toolbar appears — apply changes in bulk, or open a broadcast.

With rows selected, the toolbar lets you:

  • Update status (New, Open, Pending, Blocked, Solved, Closed) or priority (Low, Medium, High).
  • Tags — add or remove tags on every selected chat.
  • Custom fields — set, add, or remove a value.
  • Pin / Unpin and Folders — add or remove folder membership.
  • Delete, or Broadcast (opens the dialog with the selection preloaded).

Changes apply instantly and the server reconciles shortly after.

A broadcast delivers the same message to many chats. It runs as a server-side job — you can close your browser and come back later. This uses the analytics-proxied send path, so broadcasts work on Pro and the trial (Basic doesn’t include them).

  1. Select chats, then click Broadcast (or the megaphone).
  2. Confirm the recipient list — filter by tag, folder, type, or account first, so you send to exactly the right audience.
  3. Choose a template or write a new message; attach files if needed.
  4. Personalize with variables. Note {{username}} only resolves for private chats — group and channel recipients have none, so use {{name}} or {{first_name}} for mixed audiences.
  5. Review the live ETA and send.

Entergram spaces messages out to stay under Telegram’s safety thresholds. The delay scales with recipient count:

RecipientsDelay between messages
1–3~6 seconds
4–10~16 seconds
11–30~31 seconds
31–50~46 seconds
51–75~61 seconds
76–100~91 seconds

One job handles up to 100 recipients; larger sends split into multiple jobs run with up to 10 parallel workers. (A 50-recipient broadcast takes roughly 38 minutes.)

Optionally apply a change to every recipient after the send — for example, update a custom column (announce a launch, then flip every recipient’s Stage from Lead to Notified) or move them into a Telegram folder.

The Job History panel shows status (pending / in progress / completed / failed) and per-recipient delivery results. Re-open completed jobs to review who was sent to and who failed, or delete old jobs.
