Comparison

Optimove runs the campaigns. Entergram runs the Telegram conversations.

Optimove segments the whole player base and automates journeys across email, SMS, push, web and WhatsApp. Entergram is where VIP hosts, support agents and affiliate managers talk one-to-one on real personal Telegram accounts, with 100+ accounts in one inbox. They do different jobs, they do not integrate directly, and most operators that use Telegram seriously need both.

Quick verdict

This is not an either-or. Optimove decides which players get which message, at scale and automatically. Entergram is the workspace for the conversations a person has to have: the VIP host's chat, the support thread, the affiliate manager's group. If you have to pick one, the question is whether your problem is automation across thousands of players or control over dozens of human Telegram accounts. Most operators have both problems.

  • The job: Optimove automates campaigns across the player base. Entergram manages one-to-one Telegram conversations run by your team.
  • Telegram: Optimove reaches Telegram through a partner, Scoreconnect, using a bot. Entergram connects personal Telegram accounts, each on its own unique proxy.
  • Integration: there is no direct Optimove integration in Entergram. Teams move lists across by contact import, or keep contact fields aligned through HubSpot where they already use it.
  • Where Optimove wins: segmentation, journey orchestration, AI decisioning, gamification and every channel that is not a human Telegram chat.

What Entergram adds to a stack that already has Optimove

Your VIP hosts' accounts in one place

VIP hosts and support agents work from one inbox and filter by account instead of switching phones. Entergram manages 100+ accounts this way, each on its own unique proxy.

A real account, not a campaign bot

Optimove's Telegram route sends campaign messages through a bot. The VIP relationship runs on a person's own account, which can message first, sit in groups and reply in context. Entergram is built for that side.

Controls for when a host leaves

Hide usernames, hide group member information, and stop staff editing or deleting messages. Decide per account whether it is shared with the workspace or private to one person.

Reply-time data per account

Response times, message volume and busiest hours per account, with the raw data downloadable. Through the MCP, an AI client can answer the questions no fixed report covers.

The core difference

Automation across the base vs conversations with one player

A retention team running Optimove and a VIP desk running Telegram are solving different problems with different tools. The mistake is expecting either one to do the other's job.

What Optimove does well

Optimove is built for the marketer who owns the whole player base. Its iGaming page describes AI segmentation over historical, real-time and predicted behaviour, with players regrouped into micro-segments as their activity changes, and multichannel journeys with AI decisioning across email, SMS, mobile, web and the casino lobby.

It also covers ground Entergram never will: minigames, missions, badges and levels through its gamification tools, consent management and a preference center, and an exclusion check for self-excluded players. If the question is "which players get which bonus message tonight, across the whole base", Optimove is the tool.

How Optimove reaches Telegram, and what that route is for

Optimove's own Academy documents its Telegram channel. It runs through a partner, Scoreconnect, and the article says it is not a direct integration with Telegram itself. Setup needs a Telegram bot token created with BotFather, and every player needs a Telegram ID stored in Optimove, or the message cannot be delivered. It supports scheduled and real-time triggered campaigns.

That is a sensible design for campaign delivery. It is not where a VIP host talks to a player. A bot cannot message someone who has not started it, and it is not the host's own account. Entergram connects the personal accounts your hosts, support agents and affiliate managers already use, so the relationship and its history stay with the company instead of on one person's phone.

How operators run both today

There is no direct integration between Optimove and Entergram, and this page will not imply one. Teams that use both connect them with a list, not an API.

  • Export, then import. Export the segment your VIP desk should work (for example, players flagged for a host) and import it into Entergram as a contact list. Imported columns become custom fields you can filter on and use as merge tags.
  • Resolve the contacts. Entergram finds each contact by Telegram username, or by phone number when there is no username, through the connected account.
  • HubSpot as the middle layer, if you already run it. Entergram's HubSpot integration maps each chat to a HubSpot contact and syncs custom fields both ways. If player attributes already land in HubSpot, they can reach Entergram fields from there. No messages or notes sync.
  • Keep campaign sends in Optimove. Bonus messages, journeys and gamified promotions stay where they are automated and measured.

What Entergram does not do

Entergram is not a player CRM. It has no journey builder, no predictive segmentation, no bonus engine and no gamification, and it does not read your player account platform. Its shipped integrations are HubSpot, Zendesk, Notion, Make.com and Slack, with no Optimove connector. For the whole stack and where each layer sits, read our iGaming CRM guide.

What it does is the Telegram layer: the inbox, the per-account sharing and privacy controls, the analytics and the MCP. If Telegram is how your VIP and affiliate teams work, see how that layer is set up in Telegram CRM for casinos.

Honest recommendation

Which one does your team need?

Ask who is typing. If the message is generated by a rule for thousands of players, that is Optimove. If a person is typing it to one player on Telegram, that is Entergram.

Optimove is the tool if…

  • You need segments and journeys across your whole player base
  • Campaigns run over email, SMS, push, web and the casino lobby
  • You want AI decisioning to pick the offer and the timing
  • Gamification, missions and loyalty mechanics are part of retention
  • Telegram is one more automated delivery channel for you, not a place your staff work

Entergram is the tool if…

  • VIP hosts, support or affiliate managers work in Telegram on personal accounts
  • You run many accounts and want them in one filterable inbox
  • You need to stop staff deleting messages or exporting group member lists
  • You want response times per account, with the raw data
  • You want an AI client working across every account through MCP

Running both

Setting up Entergram next to Optimove

Nothing moves out of Optimove. You add the Telegram conversation layer beside it.

  1. 1

    Connect the team's Telegram accounts

Log each VIP host, support and affiliate account into Entergram. Each one is routed through its own unique proxy.

  2. 2

Set sharing and privacy before inviting the team

Decide per account whether it is shared with the workspace or private, then switch on the controls you need: hide usernames, hide group member information, block editing and deletion.

  3. 3

Import the segment the desk should work

Export the list from Optimove and import it into Entergram. Columns such as tier or host become custom fields you can filter on. Import only players who have agreed to be contacted on Telegram.

  4. 4

    Decide where fields live

If you run HubSpot, connect it so custom fields sync both ways with HubSpot contacts. If not, refresh the imported list on a schedule that suits the desk.

Connecting an account is a Telegram session. See the security page for how sessions are stored.

FAQ

Optimove vs Entergram: frequently asked questions

Does Entergram integrate with Optimove?
No. There is no direct integration. Teams export a segment from Optimove and import it into Entergram as a contact list, or keep custom fields aligned through Entergram's HubSpot integration if they already use HubSpot. Entergram's five shipped integrations are HubSpot, Zendesk, Notion, Make.com and Slack.
Can Optimove send messages on Telegram?
Yes, through a partner. Optimove's Academy documents a Scoreconnect channel that delivers scheduled and real-time triggered campaigns over Telegram using a bot token, and each player needs a Telegram ID stored in Optimove. It is a campaign delivery route, not a shared inbox for your staff.
Does Entergram replace Optimove?
No. Entergram has no journey builder, predictive segmentation, bonus engine or gamification. It manages the one-to-one Telegram conversations your team has on personal accounts. Most operators that use Telegram for VIP or affiliate work run both.
Why use personal Telegram accounts instead of a bot for VIP players?
A bot cannot message a player who has not started it, and it is not a person. A VIP host's own account can message first, join groups and hold the relationship. Entergram puts those accounts in one inbox with controls over what staff can see, edit and delete.
How many Telegram accounts can Entergram handle?
You can manage 100+ Telegram accounts in one inbox and filter by account instead of switching. Each seat includes 5 accounts, and extra accounts in the same seat are €5 a month each.
How is Optimove priced?
Optimove does not publish prices on its website; it sells through a demo. Entergram is €29 per seat per month on Basic and €39 on Pro, with a 3-day trial and no credit card.
